How do push notifications work in the George app
Just like SMS notifications, we will send you a notification for each transfer, withdrawal, deposit or payment with a debit card which will be displayed by George directly on your smartphone or tablet. You need to be connected to the Internet to receive push notifications.
What makes push notifications better compared with SMS notifications?
- they are free – SMS notifications cost €4.5 per month
- they are more secure – the push notification automatically disappears after you read it and no one else will be able to read it later,
- they are not limited – we send SMS notifications for transactions of €20 and higher but push notifications are also sent for amounts as low as €0.01.
