You can activate it in different ways:
- by entering the current PIN code at the first card payment or ATM withdrawal,
- via George app,
- via Internetbanking George.

How do I find out PIN in George (SK)
You can view your PIN in George for both types of card – debit and credit.
The service is automatically in George. It is not necessary to activate it.
In web version of George, the PIN is displayed for 10 seconds.
In the George app, the PIN is displayed as long as you hold down the Display button.
- You can view your PIN up to 5 times a day. Once this limit is exceeded, the PIN cannot be displayed.
- You can view the PIN code for a newly created card 24 hours after you have applied for a card.
- The PIN code cannot be displayed on accounts for children under 15 years of age. For the VISA Junior payment card, we are continuing to deliver the PIN code only by post.
Viewing the PIN in George is free.
Do I need to re-register a renewed card?
If you have saved the data from the card, or if merchants do not support VISA Account Updater (VAU) – the automatic update of card data:
- in online stores, or
- in mobile applications which you use for cashless payments (e.g. Bolt, Uber, Hopin, etc.).
- if we have transferred your card from Maestro or Mastercard to Visa and for paying you use the service Apple Pay, Google Pay, Garmin Pay, or Fitbit Pay. With the new Visa card, you can still pay by mobile phone, but due to the change of the card number, it is necessary to re-register the card – quite simply via George
- If for paying you use the service Apple Pay, Google Pay, Garmin Pay, or Fitbit Pay, i.e. you pay by mobile phone or watch. You do not have to upload the card again; it will be automatically linked to the new one. However, this does not apply if we transferred your card from the original Maestro or MasterCard to a Visa card.
- If you pay in online stores or in mobile app merchants that support the VISA Account Updater (VAU) service the automatic update of card data
The reason for registering a renewed card is the change in the CVC code and expiration date.
