for service outage

We're improving our banking services to make them even more convenient for you. Some services will be temporarily limited or unavailable during the night from Thursday to Friday, as well as during Saturday, including the opening of new accounts. It will not be possible to set up or modify products and services through www.slsp.sk or through George.

We apologize for the limited use of our services. Thank you for your understanding. The outage allow us to fine-tune our services and make them even quicker and more secure.


What services will be unavailable and when?

Slovenská sporiteľňa's debit cards, ATMs, and cash deposit ATMs 

  • 17 April, 12 a.m. – 1:30 a.m. (from Friday to Saturday)
    Unavailable services.

    During this time, the use of debit cards, online payments, and mobile payments via Google Pay, Apple Pay, Garmin Pay, SwatchPAY!, and Xiaomi Pay may be limited. We recommend that you withdraw at least enough cash in advance to avoid getting into an unpleasant situation. If you have any money left over after using all our services, you can deposit it into your account for free via a Deposit ATM.

    Our credit cards will remain usable at other banks’ ATMs, as well as for online payments and in stores with payment terminals of other banks.

    It will not be possible to:
    • cardless withdrawal (cash withdrawals with cards will remain fully functional),
    • deposit cash via deposit ATMs..

Internetbanking George, George mobile app

  • 17 April, 12 a.m. – 1:30 a.m. (from Friday to Saturday)
    Debit card management services will be unavailable (activation, blocking, limit changes, and show me PIN).

    limited usage of services:
    • entered instant and standard payments to other banks and foreign payments will be displayed in transactions (mobile app) and in history (desktop version) in pending status. It's not necessary to re-enter payments again, they will be processed after the maintenance after 11 p.m.,
    • the repayment of the credit card will be visible only on the account from which the payment was made,
    • displaying of account balances will be not actual,
    • statement orders, direct debits, notifications management, and opening and changing of products and services in the Discover section and active investment operations (purchase, change and sale of shares, funds) will be not possible.

  • 18 April, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. 
    It will not be possible to book appointments or view previously planned appointments.
