Slavomír Seemann appointed new Member of the Board of Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa responsible for the Finance stream.
As of today, Slavomír Seemann becomes the sixth member of the Board of Directors of Slovakia’s largest bank. He previously worked at Slovenská sporiteľňa for nearly two decades and is returning after five years with Erste Group.
“I have spent a large part of my career at Slovenská sporiteľňa, and I am pleased to be returning in a new role after my time at the Erste Group headquarters. I want to leverage my international experience to further strengthen the integration of strategy, financial management, and data, for the benefit of our clients and the bank’s long-term stability,” said Slavomír Seeman.
At Erste Group, he most recently headed Group Performance Management, where he was responsible for group controlling for Erste Group and Erste Bank Oesterreich, as well as for the strategic development of financial management.

Slavomír Seemann
Slavomír Seemann has been part of the Erste Group for more than twenty years, during which he held several senior positions in finance and controlling at both group level and within Slovenská sporiteľňa. At Slovenská sporiteľňa, he previously led the Accounting & Controlling Division for nearly eight years and successfully managed major group wide programmes in the areas of data and reporting, including the project to build a group data warehouse for regulatory and business purposes. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Business Management at the University of Economics in Bratislava.
