Once again, Slovenská sporiteľňa won the prestigious TREND TOP 2015 Bank of the Year award. The Bank won the prize for the most successful bank for the fifth time in its history and the fourth time in a row. From amongst its competitors it achieved the best results in almost all evaluation criteria.  Prizes for exceptional business results for the most successful insurance company, firm and manager of the year were awarded yesterday by the business weekly Trend, this year for the eighteenth time already.

Once again, Slovenská sporiteľňa won the prestigious TREND TOP 2015 Bank of the Year award. The Bank won the prize for the most successful bank for the fifth time in its history and the fourth time in a row.  From amongst its competitors it achieved the best results in almost all evaluation criteria.  Prizes for exceptional business results for the most successful insurance company, firm and manager of the year were awarded yesterday by the business weekly Trend, this year for the eighteenth time already. According to the TREND assessment, Slovenská sporiteľňa attracted most interest by its growth in the loan market, where it increased its market share by one percentage point. The Bank also led the field in attracting deposits. For a long time it has been the most profitable bank, having the highest return on equity and again it became the most efficient bank from amongst its competitors.

In its assessment TREND compared the economic performance of banks, their profitability, operational efficiency and their ability to increase the market share in deposits and loans. It also compared capitalisation and risk coverage.

The Bank’s insurance company Poisťovňa Slovenskej sporiteľne took second place in the category Insurer of the Year.
