If you think you may have difficulty meeting your obligations to our bank due to coronavirus activity, please let us know as soon as possible. Do not wait until you really become unable to make a loan payment, for example. The sooner you let us know, the higher the chance that we will be able to help (see the forms of assistance below).

Extension of credit facilities and deferral of instalments

If companies and entrepreneurs have met their previous obligations to the bank properly and on time and have operational financing in the form of an overdraft expiring in the next three months, they will be able to simply extend its validity for another half year.

An equivalent adjustment can be made for instalment loans, for example deferring principal and interest payments for half a year. If necessary, Slovenská sporiteľňa can also help you by deferring the deadlines for compliance with non-payment conditions such as requirements to present documents or the like.

If you have a turnover of more than EUR 1 million

These changes do not require the signing of a contractual addendum, the bank will simply make the change when you request it. Contact your corporate advisor by phone or e-mail and send a request via Business24 Electronic Banking.

If you have a turnover up to EUR 1 million

If you have an overdraft that is expiring, it will automatically be renewed for at least six months. If you wish to defer a payment on an instalment loan, contact your specialist at the branch by phone or e-mail using the contact address that you supplied to the bank, or complete the following form.

Deposit ATMs for cash operations

You can use our deposit ATMs to deposit your cash and takings. All you need to make a deposit is a payment card issued for your Business account. You can also get a special deposit card for your Business account that you can give to one of your employees to allow them to deposit takings on your account (the card supports only this type of transaction and cannot be used for payments or cash withdrawals).

If you are authorised to act for a company/business and you still do not have a payment or deposit card, contact us on 0850 111 888 and we will set up a card for you without you visiting a branch.

If you need to take out money, use ATMs rather than branches. We have the biggest ATM network in Slovakia and all our ATMs are regularly restocked with cash.

Safe contactless payments

We recommend that you replace cash payments with contactless payments, either by card, phone or smartwatch. When making a contactless payment, the card never leaves the owner’s hand so there will be no transmission of viruses or bacteria. The same applies if you pay with your phone or your watch. Contactless payments are now recommended by the World Health Organisation Mobile payment apps are free to install.
