Mastercard’s Country Manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
He has more than eight years’ experience in designing and implementing corporate strategy. In Mastercard he was responsible for the preparation and implementation of consumer and corporate product strategy in the V4 region. He was also in charge of implementing innovative value-added services, developing non-traditional issuers – including FinTech players – and managing joint activities with key merchants.
Before joining Mastercard, he led consulting projects focussing on financial services and the telecommunications sector. He worked with clients in many regions, mainly in Europe and Asia. He studied economics and strategy at the University of Chicago and the London School of Economics and Political Science. His leisure activities include diving, alpine hiking and yachting and he is currently training for a pilot licence for small aircraft.
