Peter Krutil

Chairman of the Board of Directors, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Krutil studied Economics at the Management Faculty of the University of Economics in Bratislava, passed various courses, focused on financial markets and securities trading, as well as internships at Creditanstalt Vienna and Creditanstalt London.

From 1991 to 1993, he worked in VÚB, a.s., Bratislava and as an agent for trading with securities, while he also introduced new companies to the Stock Exchange.

In 1993, he was a dealer on money and capital markets at Tatra Banka in Bratislava. From 1993 to 1998, he was a Director and later also a member of the Board of Directors at Creditanstalt Securities in Bratislava. In 1998, he worked at the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic.

In December 1998, he was elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa. From January 2015, he was a Deputy Chairman of the Board.

From January 1, 2018, Mr. Krutil has been Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer of Slovenská sporiteľňa. Among other things, he is responsible for the bank's strategy, brand strategy and development, human resources, balance sheet management and, from January 2024, also for accounting and controlling as Chief Financial Officer.

Milan Hain

Board Member

Milan Hain graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the Comenius University in Bratislava, where he received also his PhD, pursued also at the University of Technology in Eindhoven. He also pursued various special programs such as the prestigious London Business School to improve his managerial and professional skills.

He started his banking career in 1993 in VÚB where he held various positions including Head of IT Development. In 1999 he joined the communication sector as Chief Information Officer and remained there until 2012. He then started working for Raiffeisen Bank in the Czech Republic.

From July 1, 2018, he became a member of the Board of Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa, responsible for IT and bank operations.

Marek Sásik 

Board Member

He holds a master’s degree from the University of Economics in Bratislava with a specialisation in financial management, and professional training certificates from the CFA Institute in the United States, where he studied financial analysis, and the School of Finance and Management in Frankfurt, where he learned risk management.

Since 2003, his professional career has been linked with Slovenská sporiteľňa, when he started as an relationship manager for large corporate clients before progressing through several managerial roles in the areas of real estate financing, project financing, and syndications, up to corporate credit risk management (B-1 level).

He was elected a member of the Board of Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa on 13 October 2025. He is responsible for managing the Corporate Banking and Financial Markets line and he is the member of the statutory body with responsibility for securities trading.
