Scanner: The fastest way to pay postal orders
Payment of postal orders is now fast and simple thanks to the special application Scanner introduced for users of iPhones* by Slovenská sporiteľňa as the first bank in Slovakia. In order to realize payments, clients just need an iPhone with internet connection and the application which can be downloaded from the AppStore free of charge.
Fast and comfortable
Scanning the postal order only takes a couple of seconds and is fast and comfortable. The client just needs to aim the iPhone at the barcode on the postal order and he/she has all the necessary payment data in the phone almost immediately. Thank to the Scanner, he/she can use the Internetbanking of Slovenská sporiteľňa to pay his/her phone bill, household expenses or kindergarten bill,” explains Michal Grajcar, Head of E-channels and Payments Department of Slovenská sporiteľňa.
Keeping track of your finances
Thank to the Scanner, the clients will be able to keep track of their finances. Payment details will be displayed for each realized payment – to whom it was paid, from which account and under which variable symbol. Clients will also have a clear picture of all scanned items and realized payments. They will have all the necessary data available without having to keep the receipts for paid postal orders.
Modern banking applications
Scanner is the first of one-touch application series which Slovenská sporiteľňa intends to introduce in the following months as part of a comfortable use of banking services. In February 2011, the bank also launched a special version of e-banking intended not only for iPhones but for all intelligent mobile phones – so called smartphones. Clients are able to realize banking operations by means of phones with iOS (Apple), Android (HTC), Symbian (Nokia), RIM (blackberry) and Windows Mobile 7 operating systems. Last year, the bank also introduced the first banking application for iPhone with functionalities that make access to useful banking information easier and faster for clients. The application for searching the nearest ATM and branch is especially useful.
* In order to use the application, you need:
- iPhone 3GS and higher or iPod Touch - 4th generation and higher; iOS version 4.1 and higher; Internetbanking of Slovenská sporiteľňa with SMS key; in order to use the application, you don’t have to be a client of Slovenská sporiteľňa
