POS terminals of Slovenská sporiteľňa now available at all fuel stations of Slovnaft
Clients may realize payments by cards through POS terminals of Slovenská sporiteľňa at all fuel stations of SLOVNAFT, a. s. The Bank installed as many as 348 POS terminals at fuel stations of Slovnaft on the Slovak territory. The largest Slovak bank jointly with the largest Slovak network of fuel stations thus provide its customers with a quick, safe and comfortable way of realization of payments for fuels or other purchases.
„Having implemented the acceptance of payment cards which have had a chip technology embedded, the Bank has improved the level of security of electronic payments which are now safer than cards with magnetic strips only. On top of that, payment terminals are interconnected with the cash registers, thus increasing the level of service, since not only the transactions are realized more quickly, but also the risk of potential errors is lower,“ says Igor Žganjer, head of card centre of Slovenská sporitelňa.
„Installation of cashless terminals at all fuel stations of Slovnaft means also a higher level of comfort for our customers. In addition to modification of fuel stations exterior and interior premises, we also want to continually improve the quality of service,“added Ileana -Sorina Baltatu, director of Retail Sales of SLOVNAFT, a. s.
As of 31 December 2011, total number of 209 fuel stations was operated by Slovnaft on the Slovak territory.
