Christmas discounts from payments realized by Slovenská sporiteľňa cards
This year, the clients who use payment cards of Slovenská sporiteľňa for Christmas shopping will be offered quite interesting discounts. Today, the campaign „Christmas shopping with discounts“ is launched by the Bank, offering clients the opportunity to do shopping in the sale networks of EURONICS, MARTINUS, RESERVED, CROPP TOWN and JOHN GARFIELD with discounts amounting to 3 % up to 10 % from total purchase price.
The campaign „Christmas shopping with discounts“ is applicable payments realized by Slovenská sporiteľňa cards in selected shops. „Cashless payments belong among the most efficient and at the same time the safest and most comfortable method of payment for goods, services or household costs” says Milan Bednár, head of Card Products. Currently, as many as 1.3 million payment cards are used by Slovenská sporiteľňa clients, the Bank is operating 8, 328 payment terminals and 733 ATMs throughout the Slovak territory.
As follows from the survey conducted by GfK agency for Slovenská sporiteľňa this year that when shopping, Slovaks still prefer to pay by cash than by payment cards. Among the most frequent answers to a question what would motivate them to pay more by card was „obtaining additional discounts at shops“.
Below listed discounts are offered to clients using payment cards of Slovenská sporiteľňa following discounts:
- Reserved 10 %
- Cropptown 10 %
- John Garfield 10 %
- Martinus 7 %
- Euronics 7 % for small appliences / 3 % discount for all the other appliances
The shops above offer the main four categories of gifts that are bought the most as Christmas gifts, i. e. clothing, shoes, books and electronics.
