Andrea Guľová the new Member of Board of Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa
From 1 February 2011, Andrea Guľová will be appointed Member of Board of Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa. She will be responsible for IT, operations and organisation.
A. Guľová was responsible for product management from 2005 to 2008; from 2008 she has been working as senior program manager for implementation of the new banking system. She joins the Board of Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa from its subsidiary s IT Solutions where she was responsible for the implementation of the new bank information systems from 2010.
”We have achieved a lot and I am glad that I will be able to continue the projects which were successfully managed by Martin Pilecký. We have a strong IT team in the bank and its subsidiaries which I was part of and I would like to foster the cooperation with them. Last year, we were able to contribute to the bank’s results by significantly lowering IT costs and we will continue this trend. We also have a challenge ahead of us, namely the implementation of several important projects,” said Andrea Guľová.
Former Member of Board of Directors Martin Pilecký will act as Advisor to the Board of Directors.
From 1 February 2011, the Board of Directors of Slovenská sporiteľňa will have the following members:
Jozef Síkela, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO
- responsible for risk management, human resources, marketing and market research, legal services and communication,
Štefan Máj, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors
- responsible for accounting, controlling, balance sheet management, property and construction management, subsidiaries and physical security,
Jiří Huml, Member of Board of Directors
- responsible for retail sales and product management,
Peter Krutil, Member of Board of Directors
- responsible for corporate clients and treasury,
Andrea Guľová, Member of Board of Directors
- responsible for information technologies, operations and organisation.
